Indian multinational conglomerate Reliance launched the much-awaited laptop JioBook 4G (2023) on Monday. You can get your hands on the lightweight and budget-friendly laptop at an unbeatable price of Rs 16,499.

The JioBook 4G 2023 flaunts an 11.6-inch anti-glare HD display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The laptop has a plastic body and weighs just 990 grams, making it ultra-portable and easy to carry. The latest laptop features an infinity keyboard and a large multi-gesture trackpad, while its stylish matte finish adds to its overall appeal.
The laptop is powered by a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT8788 processor, providing smooth multitasking and efficient performance. This paired with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB storage ensures ample space for your files and applications on the device. The storage is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The latest JioBook runs on JioOS, an Android-based operating system.
As the name suggests, always-on 4G connectivity is one of the standout features of the JioBook 4G 2023. This enables you to browse the internet and attend online classes virtually from anywhere via Jio SIM. In addition, the laptop supports other connectivity options including dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0; and comes with two USB ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a mini-HDMI port for enhanced connectivity options. The JioBook 4G 2023 sports a 2-megapixel Web camera and comes packed with dual stereo speakers.
In terms of battery life, JioBook 4G 2023 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that can last up to 8 hours on a single charge. Students can access educational content via the JioTV app and learn coding languages via JioBIAN, a Linux-based coding software. You also get 100GB of free cloud storage on Digiboxx and one year of Quick Heal antivirus protection with parental controls with the purchase of the laptop.
The device comes in sole Blue color and has a Jio SIM card embedded in it. The JioBook 4G 2023 will be available for purchase starting August 5, 2023, at Reliance Digital’s online and offline stores, as well as through Amazon. Pre-orders for the device have begun.
Meanwhile, this is the company’s second laptop ever. Last year, billionaire Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance launched its first-ever budget-friendly laptop JioBook, featuring an 11.6-inch HD display with a 1366 x 768 screen resolution. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit, a 2GHz octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU and is packed with 2GB RAM and up to 32GBwMMC storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. The first JioBook also came in a single Jio blue color.
