The iPad (10th Gen) is powered by Apple’s A14 Bionic processor, the same system-on-a-chip you can find in the iPhone 12 lineup. This is an upgrade from the A13 Bionic that came with the ninth-generation iPad. The new entry-level iPad has a better quality and larger screen than its predecessor with a 10.2-inch screen; it sports a 10.9-inch liquid retina screen of 500 nits brightness level. The cameras also have become better. It comes with two cameras: a 12-megapixel camera on the back panel can record video in up to 4K resolution. On the front, it has a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.

The new iPad comes with a TouchID (fingerprint sensor) integrated into the power button on the top side. On the connectivity front, it supports Wi-Fi 6 and 5G for wireless connectivity. For the first time, an entry-level iPad is coming with a USB-C port for charging and various accessories. It also supports the first-generation Apple Pencil with its built-in Lightning connector.

If we look at the physical features, the iPad (10th gen) essentially got the body of the iPad Air with the design getting squared-off edges. Apple has ditched the headphone jack as well as the home button on this device. iPad (10th Gen) comes in blue, pink, yellow, and silver colors in 64GB and 256GB configurations.

Now, let’s talk about iPad Pro.

The 2022 iPad Pro models come in two different screen sizes: 11-inch and 12.9-inch. The device is powered by an M2 chipset, which debuted with the 2022 MacBook Air, and runs on iPadOS 16 out-of-the-box.

The 11-inch model has a Liquid Retina display with up to 120Hz refresh rate with ProMotion whereas the 12.9-inch model sports a Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate with ProMotion. The iPad Pro also supports 6K resolution displays.

The device offers 5G connectivity and is equipped with WiFi 6E for wireless connections. It also recognizes the Apple Pencil hovering above the display.  The company claims that iPad Pro delivers up to 15 percent better performance plus improved power efficiency and up to 35 percent better graphics performance.

It boasts a dual-camera set-up on the back including a 12MP wide-angle camera and a 10MP ultra-wide angle camera with support for ProRes videos and Faces ID. iPad Pro comes with a 20W USB Type-C power adapter and features a four-speaker setup and five microphones.
