iQOO

The iQOO 9T smartphone has been launched in India on Tuesday. The affordable flagship smartphone that comes with premium mid-range segments is powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile chipset, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

iQOO 9T has become India’s first commercially available Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip-powered phone and it is the country’s fourth iQOO 9 series phone after the iQOO 9 SE 5G, iQOO 9 5G, and iQOO 9 Pro 5G.  The smartphone is apparently the rebranded version of the iQOO 10 that launched in China last month alongside the iQOO 10 Pro model. It competes with the Oneplus 9RT and the Xiaomi 11T Pro.

Talking about the specifications, the smartphone has a dual-tone design on the back panel, with a carbon fiber finish. With a punch-hole cutout at the center to house a 16MP selfie snapper, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and stereo speakers.

iQOO 9T comes with a 50MP primary camera, a 13-Megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree FOV, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.  It also has Vivo V1+ image processing chip onboard for an optimized photography experience. The smartphone delivers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate with up to 1,500 nits of brightness. The device runs on FunTouch OS 12-based Android 12 OS. The iQOO 9T offers a vapor chamber liquid cooling system with a 3,930 sq. mm. area, for cooling the device under prolonged heavy usage.

In India, iQOO 9T is priced at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB/128GB version and Rs 54,999 for the 12GB/256GB model.
