Fitbit introduces new smartwatches; Sense 2, Inspire 3 and Versa 4 launched

Fitbit has launched the Sense 2, Inspire 3, and Versa 4 smartwatches with six months of Fitbit Premium bundled together for free as an introductory offer

Fitbit has three new smartwatches in its collection as it launched the Fitbit Sense 2, Inspire 3, and Versa 4 along with an offer of six months of free Fitbit Premium subscription service to those who purchase the new devices. Google-owned smartwatch maker announced an “unexpected event” for the launch on Tuesday with a cryptic tweet that showed an image that appears to show off crops of the casing of a new watch.

This much-awaited smartwatch is powered by the new Fitbit OS. It features a new Body Response sensor that makes use of metrics like heart rate, heart rate variability, and skin temperature for stress management with over six days of battery. The company has added a feature using which the smartwatch will provide ways to manage stress using guided breathing and mindfulness sessions.

Considering that the Sense 2 is the company’s most advanced product, it is priced at Rs 24,999. The device is compatible with both iOS and Android devices

Fitbit Inspire 3

This smartwatch is the company’s entry-level health and fitness tracker which, as per its specifications, automatically captures movement and tracks Active Zone Minutes, calories burned, heart rate, steps taken and distance covered.

The Inspire 3 enables users to track their sleeping patterns and see sleep quality using features like Sleep Score and Sleep Stages. It comes with some additional features like the Health Metrics Dashboard to allow users to keep an eye on their heart variability rate, breathing rate, oxygen saturation, menstrual health tracking, and skin temperature. The company also claims the smartwatch has water resistance up to 50 meters and can last up to 10 days on a single charge.

The Inspire 3 comes in three colors and is priced at Rs 8,999.

 

Fitbit Verse 4

 

When compared to the previous versions,  Versa 4 is thinner and lighter and comes with the latest Fitbit OS. The button from Versa 2 is now back and is placed on the left side of the device. As per specifications, the smartwatch will use 10 sleep metrics to help improve sleep quality, and will users options to manage stress. It also has 40 exercise modes which include new options like HIIT, CrossFit, dance, weight lifting, and other ‘know your body’ features.

The company claims the Versa 4 will work for up to 6 days on a single charge. The will be soon available in four colors for pre-order on the company’s official website at Rs 20,499.
