OnePlus Buds Pro 2 with upto 39-hour battery life launched
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will be launched in India on February 7 at the company’s Cloud 11 event.

OnePlus launched Buds Pro 2 along with OnePlus 11 smartphone in China on Wednesday. From improvement in battery life to better active noise cancellation, let’s check out key highlights of the successor of Buds Pro:

The truly wireless earbuds OnePlus Buds Pro 2 feature dual audio drivers – 11mm and 6mm that help to tackle high and low frequencies without any distortions. It features spatial audio and also supports LHDC, AAC, SBC, and LC3 audio codecs.

Unlike its predecessor and just like its parent company Oppo, OnePlus has partnered with Danish loudspeaker maker Dynaudio to deliver better vocals and deeper bass through its flagship earbuds. This is even highlighted in the charging case, which is pebble-shaped with frosted matte-finished and OnePlus branding on it.

Buds Pro 2 uses Bluetooth v5.3 to connect with devices and further supports multipoint connectivity. As per surroundings, the device uses algorithms to activate ANC that can suppress up to 48dB of outside noise. This is up from the 40dB offered by OnePlus Buds Pro. Each earbud is equipped with three microphones. Users can answer calls and navigate music via touch controls on their OnePlus Buds Pro 2.

On the design front, not much has been changed from its predecessor. And like the OnePlus Buds Pro, the new device has a semi-in-ear design and comes in dual-tone where the upper half is matte-finished and the lower half is glossy. Talking about battery life, the IP55-rated device for dust and water resistance could last up to 39 hours with the charging case and without ANC.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will go on sale in China on January 9. The device is priced at CNY 899 (around Rs 11,000). The earbuds, OnePlus 11 smartphone, and other products will be launched in India on February 7 at the company’s Cloud 11 event.
