Talking about the ‘talk of the town’- the Pixel 7 Pro. The flagship smartphone comes with a high refresh rate display, a big camera sensor, a distinctive look, and promises of long software support. The phone comes with 12GB RAM with an option to choose between 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage.

The next-gen Tensor processing unit upgrades Pixel 7 Pro to another level making the tasks 60% faster and 20% more efficient. It also gives some ‘one of a kind’ features to the Pixel 7 lineup like Photo Unblur which uses Google’s advanced AI to remove blur and noise from old photos.

Talking about the camera setup, the Pixel 7 Pro has a 50MP, 12MP ultra-wide camera that has autofocus, allowing it to take macro shots. The main camera has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) as well as electronic stabilization which allows for recording 4K videos at 30fps and 60fps. Google has partnered with the makers of apps like Snapchat and TikTok to enable higher-quality videos for them and it can record 10-bit HDR videos. The Tensor G2 chipset enables the camera to create cinematic blur or to stabilize handheld footage even further. The 48MP telephoto camera has 5x optical magnification which allows it to zoom in further digitally with some special Pixel magic. Both Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have the same selfie camera.

The 6.71” AMOLED display comes with a QHD+ LTPO panel with a 10-120Hz variable refresh rate. It also has an in-display fingerprint reader and a 5,000mAh battery. Pixel 7 Pro has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The phone’s metal chassis is made of 100% recycled aluminum.

Pixel 7 has 8 GB RAM and a choice between 128GB and 256GB storage. The display size is down to 6.3” and has a flat AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution. It has a 25% higher peak brightness than the Pixel 6 display but has only a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone also has a smaller battery of 4,355mAh but the more efficient hardware means that Extreme Battery Saver mode can last 72 hours.

Talking of the camera setup, the Pixel 7 sports a 50MP primary camera (1/1.31”, 1.2µm before binning) along with a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 10.8MP selfie camera. The phone relies on the relatively high-resolution primary sensor and Google’s Super Res Zoom image processing.
