Meta-owned social media platform Instagram has rolled out an exciting new wherein you can add song lyrics to your Reels, providing a creative twist to your short video clips. Meta chief executive officer Mark Zuckerberg made the announcement via their channels on the Insta app. “Rolling out the option to add song lyrics to your Instagram Reels, just like you can on Stories,” Zuckerberg said.
To utilize this feature, it’s a straightforward process. First, select a music clip of your choice and incorporate it into your Reel. After that, you will see the “lyrics” option, where the magic happens. Once chosen, the lyrics of the song will elegantly grace your screen, offering you a canvas to unleash your creativity. Here, you have the freedom to customize the font, color, and positioning of the text. 1 Open the Instagram app and navigate to the Reels section by tapping on the Reels icon at the bottom of your screen.
2 Once inside the Reels interface, tap on the Music icon located at the top of your screen. From there, you can select a song from Instagram’s extensive library or use your own audio.
3 After selecting your desired song, look for the Lyrics icon at the bottom of the screen and tap on it. This will open up customization options for your lyrics.
