The anticipation surrounding the Vivo X Fold 3 series has reached a fever pitch as recent leaks about the device surfaced on popular Chinese social media platform Weibo by Digital Chat Station, that gave a detailed glimpse of the phone’s specifications, camera capabilities and design aspects. The X Fold 3 series is said to include a base variant and higher-spec variant, namely, X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 pro. Here are the expected specs and updates.

Vivo is yet to disclose the specs of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro and the vanilla X Fold 3, but leaks circulating online suggest that the device would be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and would boast a staggering 16GB of RAM, may house a 5550mAh battery, while the X Fold 3 Pro may likely have a 5800mAh battery. The devices may feature 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
But it doesn’t stop there as the X Fold 3 pro may feature an exclusive expandable storage upto 1 TB space, potentially coupled with the latest UFS 4.0. In terms of display, the phones are likely to possess an 8.03 inch internal display with a resolution of 2480 x 2200, accompanied by an 6.53 inch external display, both wielding LTPO AMOLED panels with a refresh rate of upto 120Hz and HDR10+ support.
Additionally whispers online suggest that the X Fold 3 Pro is expected to feature a Zeiss triple camera setup consisting of one 50 MP OV50H main sensor, followed by a 50 MP ultrawide lens, and one 64 MP OV64B 3X periscope camera, backed by OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) and 4K video capture capacity at 60 frames per second, all because of Vivo’s V3 imaging chip. The phone may also feature a dual front camera system of two 32MP sensors.
Other features as mentioned by the Weibo user included a dual single-point ultrasonic fingerprint, infrared remote control, waterproof support, X-axis motor and a unified glass body all around the device.
