Bryan Johnson, the CEO of Biotech, has taken on a fascinating journey to reverse his biological age by at least five years. The 45-year-old ultra-wealthy software entrepreneur claims that he has reduced the ageing process in each of his organs with the help of a team of 30 medical experts through a project called Blueprint.
Project Blueprint is a strict, regimented routine that focuses on the regulation of diet, exercise, and sleep. Johnson follows a vegan diet, consumes 1,997 calories a day, undergoes a strict exercise regime for an hour, and has a regulated sleep time where he goes to bed at the same time every day. He also wakes up at 5 am, consumes supplements along with green juice, and has his vitals monitored throughout the day through various medical procedures.
The results of Project Blueprint, as reported by Bloomberg, suggest that after following the rigorous program, Johnson may have achieved the heart of a 37-year-old and the skin of a 27-year-old. Johnson stated that he wants to prove that self-harm and decay are not inevitable. Despite the project still being in the experimental stage, it is constantly being tweaked by 29-year-old physician Dr Oliver Zolman with the aim of making anti-ageing available to everyone.
Johnson mentioned that the project was born out of feeling helpless to stop overeating, despite his successes in life. The goal of Project Blueprint is to prove that humans can reduce their biological age by 25 per cent, and Johnson is investing at least $2 million to achieve this goal.
Bryan Johnson’s journey to reverse his biological age is an exciting experiment that could have major implications for the anti-ageing industry. The strict routine and the focus on diet, exercise, and sleep are a testament to Johnson’s dedication to proving that self-harm and decay are not inevitable. With the goal of making anti-ageing available to everyone, Project Blueprint is a project to watch.
