Acer is expanding its laptop portfolio with the introduction of its new Swift series, featuring advanced technology at various price points. Leading the lineup is the Acer Swift X 14, a highly capable laptop designed for those who demand top-tier performance in a compact form.
The Swift X 14 is notable for its 14.5-inch display, available in either a vibrant 2880×1880 OLED or a crisp 2560×1600 IPS version, both offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for superior visual clarity. Inside, the laptop is equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, with options including the Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5 from the high-performance H-series.
The laptop doesn’t just excel in processing power. It also comes with up to 32GB of RAM and a maximum of 1TB of storage, ensuring seamless multitasking and ample space for all types of files. Graphics-wise, the Swift X 14 is a powerhouse, featuring options up to the Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU. Lower-tier models include the RTX 4060, 4050, and 3050 GPUs, catering to a range of performance needs, from gaming to professional content creation. This Windows 11 laptop is priced starting at $1,399, reflecting its premium specifications.
For budget-conscious consumers, Acer introduces the Swift Go series, including the Swift Go 14 and Swift Go 16. Starting at $749, these laptops are more accessible but still pack a punch in terms of performance. They are available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes and can be configured with either OLED displays or the H or U-series Core Ultra chips. Memory and storage options are on par with the Swift X, with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage.
The main distinction between the Swift Go series and the Swift X is the choice of GPUs, with the Swift Go models featuring Intel Arc graphics. This selection offers a balanced performance, suitable for a variety of users. All three models in the series are equipped with dedicated Copilot keys, enhancing user experience and functionality.
The Swift X is set to launch in February, while the release of the Swift Go 14 and Swift Go 16 is slated for February and March, respectively.
