Deadpool 3 trailer hits 365 million views in just 24 Hours

Deadpool’s irreverent antics are making way into the heart of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and rewriting the history for the franchise along the way. In a blitz of excitement following its debut during the Super Bowl 2024, the first trailer for Deadpool third outing in Deadpool and Wolverine has shattered records, amassing a staggering 2 within just 24 hours, as reported by Disney.

This milestone topples the previous Marvel champion, Spider-Man: No Way Home, whose trailer racked up 355.5 million views way back in 2021. The reason behind this surge is obviously the electrifying atmosphere of this year’s Super Bowl, that had a record-breaking audience of 123.7 million viewers who undoubtedly fueled Deadpool’s ascent.

MCU’s Deadpool and Wolverine is set to hit theaters on July 26th, heralding the entry of Ryan Reynolds’ R-rated Merc with a mouth into Disney‘s typically family-friendly Marvel Cinematic Universe. In a trailer brimming with Deadpool’s signature wit and humor, he mockingly dubs himself as “Marvel’s Jesus” as he transitions into the MCU after a wild ride with the Time Variance Authority (TVA), the enigmatic multiverse regulators last encountered during the two seasons of Loki.

While Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine remains shrouded in mystery, his presence is keenly felt as he, too, makes the leap from the “X-Men” universe into the MCU within the confines of the third Deadpool installment, but this time he is set to rock the classic blue and yellow Wolverine outfit as seen in the comics, unlike his last appearance in the film, Logan. Directed by Shawn Levy, Deadpool 3 boasts a stellar cast including Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen.

Behind the scenes of Deadpool and Wolverine, a powerhouse team of producers spearhead the project, with Kevin Feige, Reynolds, Levy, and Lauren Shuler Donner at the helm. They are supported by a legion of executive producers, including Louis D’Esposito, Wendy Jacobson, Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, George Dewey, Simon Kinberg, and Jonathon Komack Martin.

The screenplay is crafted by Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, and Levy, promising a rollercoaster of action, humor, and mayhem crazier the previous Deadpool instalments and unlike anything the MCU has ever seen before.
