The culmination of their efforts is the launch of two new battery packs, one with a 15-year, 932,000-mile (1.5 million km) warranty, and another with a 10-year, 621,000-mile (1 million km) guarantee. CATL’s batteries are used by several leading automakers, including Tesla, Ford, BMW, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, and Kia, and the company’s sales in the US and Europe doubled in the previous year.

CATL’s commitment to innovation is further demonstrated by its recent unveiling of the “Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery,” an LFP battery that can add 248 miles (400 km) of range in just 10 minutes. The company has also announced plans to reduce the cost of LFP battery cells per kWh by an impressive 50% by the middle of this year, making EVs more accessible and affordable for consumers.
