iQOO Neo 9 Pro: Launch Date And Expected Specs

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer IQOO confirmed the arrival of the new Neo 9 Pro series smartphone through its official X (formerly Twitter) account and via a media invite on January 16 2024. This new device is expected to go on sale on February 22 via Amazon India. 

A teaser shared by the vivo sub-brand suggests that the device will feature a dual-tone red and white design with a  leather finish on the device. As for the performance features, the handset is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC chip coupled with the Adreno 740 GPU. The device also features a vibrant 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a HDR10+ support for sharp and crisp visuals.

IQOO Neo 9 Pro: Specs

Regarding the camera capabilities, The IQOO Neo 9 pro is expected to feature a dual camera setup powered by a 50 MegaPixel Sony IMX920 main camera sensor that supports optical image stabilization (OIS), followed by a 50 MegaPixel ultra-wide-angle lens. 

The device is set to feature a 16 MegaPixel front-facing sensor that would meet the optimum selfie and video calling requirements. The iQOO Neo 9 Pro is expected to feature a 5,160mAh battery paired with a 120W fast charging support and the latest Android 14 OS on the smooth Funtouch OS 14 user interface.

Surprisingly, the Chinese variant of the Neo 9 Pro featured a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC chip and was coupled with the Immortalis-G720 GPU. Additionally, iQOO launched both the vanilla iQOO Neo 9 and the Neo 9 Pro in China, while only the higher-end iQOO Neo 9 Pro is going to make its way to India.
