Dyson has launched its latest air purifier, the ‘Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet,’ in India. Priced at Rs 68,900, this cutting-edge machine is designed to clean the air in spaces as large as 1,000 square feet. The new purifier is available for purchase on Dyson’s official website and at Dyson Demo stores in a White + Satin Silver color option.
The Purifier Big+Quiet features an upgraded filtration system with a fully sealed HEPA H-13 grade filter. “The particle filter is made of 21 meters of borosilicate microfibers pleated 459 times, capturing 99.95% of particle pollutants,” said Matt Jennings, Dyson Engineering Director for Environmental Care. The filter is designed to last up to two years, providing long-term relief from pollutants like VOCs, NO2, and ozone.
One of the standout features is the new Breeze mode. Dyson engineers collected 40 million data points to create a unique software algorithm that mimics natural breeze patterns. The machine also addresses airflow projection in large rooms with its new Cone Aerodynamics technology. “We’ve developed a new energy-efficient, low-pressure air delivery system that leverages the Coanda effect to project a powerful and condensed jet of air more than 10 meters,” Jennings added.
The air purifier comes with a suite of integrated sensors that monitor particle and gas levels in real-time. These metrics are displayed on an LCD screen and can also be accessed via the MyDyson app. “The sensors are embedded with a unique Dyson algorithm which cross-checks data every second, allowing the machine to automatically adjust its performance,” said Jennings.
The MyDyson app doubles as a remote control, allowing users to schedule and monitor purification even when they’re not at home. The machine also offers adjustable air projection angles, catering to user preferences at zero degrees, 25 degrees, or 50 degrees.
While the Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet comes with a hefty price tag of Rs 68,900, it promises a range of features that set it apart from its competitors. It is now available for purchase at Dyson’s official outlets and online stores.
