Chinese consumer tech major OnePlus unveiled the latest OnePlus Buds 3 at its ‘Smooth Beyond Belief’ launch event in New Delhi, India on Tuesday. The earbuds were unveiled alongside the launch of the newest smartphone the OnePlus 12 Series.
OnePlus Buds 3 Specifications
Upon first glance, the Buds 3 appears both aesthetically pleasing and ergonomically designed. The earbuds come in metallic coating and matte finish, weighing 4.8 grams each.
The OnePlus Buds 3 further features a coaxial integrated design that combines a 10.4mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. This dual-driver setup ensures a well-balanced sound spectrum, from deep bass to crisp trebles. The buds’ sound quality is further enhanced by their support for the LHDC 5.0 Bluetooth codec and certification from the Japan Audio Society as a Hi-Res Audio Wireless device.
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is another standout feature of the OnePlus Buds 3, offering up to 49dB of noise cancellation, The earbuds further feature an Adaptive ANC that adjusts to the user’s ear canal for an optimized audio experience.
Furthermore, the OnePlus Buds 3 features Google Fast Pair for dual device connection and ultra-low latency of just 94ms. The touch control area for volume adjustments and an AI-enhanced call algorithm for clear voice transmission further add to their appeal.
In terms of battery life and durability, the OnePlus Buds 3 offers up to 10 hours of playback without ANC and a total of 44 hours with the charging case. The earbuds are IP55-rated for dust and water resistance.
OnePlus Buds 3 Price and Availability
The earbuds are priced at Rs 5499 and will be available in Splendid Blue and Metallic Grey color options. The device will go on sale starting February 6 at the brand’s online and offline stores. Users can also get the device on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and the company’s offline Partner Stores. OnePlus is also offering an Instant Bank Discount of Rs 1000 if purchased with ICICI and OneCard credit cards between 6th and 12th February. An additional discount of Rs 800 can be availed by RCC members starting February 6.
