OnePlus during its Summer Launch event 2024 that was held yesterday, launched the Oneplus Nord 4. With the return of an all-metal unibody design, here’s a deeper look at what this new Nord 3 successor brings to the table. Along with this, Oneplus also launched the Oneplus Pad 2 coupled with the new Stylo 2 stylus, the Oneplus Watch 2R and finally the Oneplus Buds 3 Pro.
OnePlus Nord 4 specs
The Oneplus Nord 4 features a 6.74 inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports HDR10+ and boasts a peak brightness of 2150 nits, suggesting vibrant colors and good readability in outdoor conditions.
In terms of perfomance, the Nord 4 packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, a significant performance boost in comparison with previous Nord models. The device also gets up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM with UFS4.0 storage in higher configurations for faster data transfer speeds.
When it comes to imaging, the device fearures a dual camera system that comprises of one 50MP Sony LYTIA main sensor with OIS and EIS, followed by an 8MP Sony Ultra-wide sensor. On the front, the handset features a 16MP selfie camera.
Powering up the Nord 4 is a 5500mAh battery that supports 100W SUPERVOOC charging allowing for quick battery refills under 30 minutes as claimed by Oneplus. However, real-world battery life can vary depending on usage patterns.
Additionally, the phone features an In-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking. Dual stereo speakers with noise cancellation for an immersive audio experience and offers a variety of the usual connectivity options like 5G and Wi-Fi 6 for future-proofing. All this while boasting a metal unibody design, not so common in the 5G mid-range segment.
Price, colours and availability:
The OnePlus Nord 4 starts at ₹29,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, ₹32,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant, and ₹35,999 for the top-end 12GB+256GB model. It comes in three color options, Oasis Green, Mercurial White and Obsidian Knight Black. Pre-bookings will be available from July 20th, 2024.
