Sony is gearing up to launch its latest flagship smartphone, the Sony Xperia 1 VI, a highly anticipated addition to its premium Xperia lineup. Announced during a press release on May 15th, the device is a successor to last year’s Xperia 1 V and is expected to be released on June 3, 2024.

The Xperia 1 VI boasts a 6.5-inch LTPO OLED FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, offering a rich viewing experience with 1 billion colors, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR BT.2020 support. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, making it resilient against scratches and impacts.
Powered by Android 14 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the Xperia 1 VI features an octa-core CPU, comprising a mix of Cortex-X4, Cortex-A720, and Cortex-A520 cores, paired with the Adreno 750 GPU, ensures smooth multitasking and gaming experiences.
