Xiaomi teases Pulse “water gun”; to launch this Holi?

In a surprising move, just days after launching the flagship Xiaomi 14 series in India, Sandeep Sarma, the Associate Director of marketing at Xiaomi India playfully hinted at the possibility of launching the Xiaomi Pulse Water gun on X (formerly called Twitter) as the vivid festival of Holi closes in. Anticipation is building as  the tease seems to have ignited curiosity after Sandeep shared a blurred image of himself wielding what seems to be the Xiaomi Mijia Pulse Water Gun. While Xiaomi is yet to officially confirm the water gun’s release in India, the tease suggests that a splash of excitement for Holi that falls on March 25th may be on the horizon.

The Pulse Water Gun, also known as the Xiaomi Mijia Pulse in China, boasts automatic water absorption in just 10-15 seconds, according to Xiaomi. With three versatile shooting modes – continuous, single, and charged players can tailor their water warfare experience to their liking. Sporting a sleek white design accented by dynamic blue lighting effects, this water blaster is sure to make the users feel like they’re using DC’s Hydro-Plasma Rifle that was wielded by the antagonist Black Manta in the movie Aquaman.

In terms of display, the Pulse Water Gun comes equipped with a high-definition clear tactical display that provides real-time updates on firing mode, power and water status. The Xiaomi Mijia Pulse Water Gun is currently available only in China, but speculations are rife about its potential launch in India, after looking at the teased images online. With Xiaomi hinting at a possible release in time for Holi 2024, excitement is on the rise as Holi enthusiasts seem eager to add some aquatic excitement to the festival. In terms of pricing, nothing is confirmed yet but the toy was seen with a price tag of Rs. 15,363.79 on Aliexpress.
