The Apple Music Sing feature will offer users more than 50 dedicated companion playlists.
American multinational tech giant Apple introduced a new karaoke experience called the Apple Music Sing last week. The new feature will be available to Apple Music subscribers worldwide later this month and can be enjoyed on iPhone, iPad, and the Apple TV 4K.
“With adjustable vocals and real-time lyrics, Apple Music Sing gives fans more control and even more precise timing while they sing along to their favourite tunes,” Apple said in a blog. “Whether you sing along with the original artist, go solo, or mix it up – the choice is yours,” it added.
Users can sing with the original artist’s vocals, take the lead, or mix it up on millions of songs in the Apple Music catalog, the blog noted. Further, users can sing with real-time lyrics and adjust the volume of the vocals to make their voices more audible. The karaoke mode will offer users more than 50 dedicated companion playlists featuring epic songs, duets, choruses, and anthems.
As per reports, the feature requires an A13 Bionic chip to function. According to AppleToolBox, the primary requirement to use Apple Music Sing is that the device can run iOS 16.2. “This new feature is compatible with iPhone models going back to the iPhone 11, along with select iPad models, but is only compatible with the 2022 Apple TV 4K,” it added.
To use the Apple Music Sing feature:
