American tech major Google is reportedly planning to rebrand its AI-powered chatbot, Bard, to ‘Gemini’. Apart from the new identity, the company is also working on developing a dedicated Android application and an exclusive paid version named ‘Gemini Advanced.’
A report by 9to5Google and a leaked changelog update, dated February 7, 2024, shared by shared pp developer Dylan Roussel on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) noted Google’s intention to rename Bard and launch an Android app as well as a paid, advanced version of the AI chatbot.
