The debut of Samsung Galaxy foldable smartphones is expected to happen at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event.

 

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are up for pre-reservation in India and these will be launched on August 10 at 6:30 pm.

 

The debut of the next-gen, Galaxy foldable smartphones is expected to be alongside Galaxy Watch 5 series and Galaxy Buds Pro at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. To book the phones, users will have to pay a token amount of Rs 1,999 and they will get additional benefits worth Rs 5,000.

 

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4:

 

According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will come with a 7.6-inch QXGA+ AMOLED display and a 6.2-inch HD+ AMOLED screen, both with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship SoC chip paired with 12GB or 16GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB internal storage.

 

Further, the South Korean multinational electronics giant, has upgraded the main camera of Fold 4 to 50MP primary sensor + 12MP ultrawide sensor + 12MP telephoto sensor along with a 10MP selfie camera.

 

Fold 4, which is likely to be released in black, beige, and grey colours, will come with a 4,400 mAh battery and will support 25W fast charging. The company is also expected to improve the appearance of the crease on the folding display of the phone, which is expected to be priced above Rs. 1,00,000.

 

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4:

 

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is expected to opt for a 6.7-inch primary display+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, some media reports suggested. It will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC chip paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

 

The device is expected to feature a 12MP primary camera + 12MP ultra-wide shooter along with a 10MP selfie camera. Flip 4 is likely to be released in black, light blue, bora Purple, and rose gold colours.

 

It will come with a 3,700 mAh battery and will support 25W fast charging along with 10W wireless charging. The phone is also expected to be priced at over Rs. 1,00,000.
