American artificial intelligence company and parent of popular bot ChatGPT – OpenAI – has fixed the issue that exposed the chat titles of some users. The company had temporarily shut down the AI service on Monday after some users complained of a bug that let users see the chat titles of other users.

“We had a significant issue in ChatGPT due to a bug in an open source library, for which a fix has now been released and we have just finished validating,” OpenAI’s chief executive officer Sam Altman informed on Twitter.

“A small percentage of users were able to see the titles of other users’ conversation history. We feel awful about this,” he said; adding that as a result of the fix, users will not be able to access their chat history between 1 am PDT and 10 am PDT on Monday (March 20).

American tech giant Microsoft has integrated the technology used by ChatGPT and revamped its search engine – Bing, and bundled the technology with its Power Platform earlier this month technology. Elsewhere, the Microsoft-funded AI-based text generator has even passed some of the toughest exams in the U.S. The Satya Nadella-led company

However, despite passing several competitive and professional exams, users have complained that the AI chatbot generates wrong answers even to simple questions. The text generated by ChatGPT could contain a high degree of plagiarism along with inaccurate and biased content.
