“We got GTA VI, before GTA VI!” , maybe the expression of gamers right now who seem to be filling up social media posts with comments expecting the new Grand Theft Auto addition, Grand Theft Auto VI.

In a major announcement that seems to have brought back lost hope to gamers, Rockstar Games has unveiled a more specific release window for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. According to the latest fiscal report from Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, the game is now slated for a fall 2025 release. This update narrows the initial broad timeline provided last December, when the first GTA VI trailer hinted at a 2025 launch.

Take-Two Interactive’s fiscal year concludes in March, and the company is projecting a significant financial upturn, anticipating a 10% increase in net income over the next year. This optimistic outlook is partly driven by the expected commercial success of GTA VI. Strauss Zelnick, Chairman and CEO of Take-Two Interactive, expressed strong confidence in Rockstar Games’ ability to deliver an exceptional gaming experience with GTA VI. “Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games’ previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI,” Zelnick stated. “We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase.”

In addition to GTA VI, Take-Two Interactive has outlined an impressive slate of upcoming releases for its fiscal 2025, which ends in March 2025. Among the confirmed titles are NBA 2K25, WWE 2K25, and Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game. The company is also preparing to launch mobile-exclusive games such as Star Wars Hunters and Game of Thrones: Legends. These releases underscore Take-Two’s robust pipeline and diversified portfolio, reinforcing its strong position in the gaming industry.

As anticipation builds for GTA VI, the gaming world eagerly awaits what promises to be a landmark release, potentially redefining the boundaries of interactive entertainment.
