The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G series is set to launch in India in April, as revealed by a teaser on Flipkart yesterday. The lineup includes the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G followed by the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G. These smartphones are successors to the Infinix Note 30 and the Note 30 Pro. Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G specs
The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G series features a vibrant 6.78-inch 3D curved LTPS AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, 1080 x 2436 pixel resolution, and 393 ppi pixel density.
Powering the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G is the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7020 6nm chipset, coupled with the IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. The device is fuelled by a 4600mAh non-removable battery while the Note 40 Pro 5G features a 5000mAh battery, supporting 100W wired fast charging and 20W wireless charging capabilities with reverse charging too, thanks to the X1 Cheetah Power Management Chip developed by Infinix.
Infinix claims that the device can charge up to 50% in just 12 minutes. The device will be available in one storage variant that is 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM that is expandable upto 24GB of VRAM and 256 GB storage with UFS 2.2 support.
The handset runs on the latest Android 14 OS with the Infinix XOS 13 skin. Along with this the device gets ‘Active Halo’, an AI chatbot that can be conversed with and brightens up various scenes like gaming, notification alerts, charging and much more due to the mesmerizing light effects as it is placed near the camera module.
The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G boasts a versatile camera setup. On the rear, it features a triple camera system, including a high-resolution 108 MP f/1.8 wide sensor with PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), accompanied by two 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensors. For selfie and video calls, the device sports a 32 MP f/2.2 wide sensor on the front.
Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and transfer, accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor, compass, IR (infrared) sensor and SAR sensor, along with an FM radio.
Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G price
The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G, will be launched this April and will be available in the 12GB+256GB storage variant, and expected to priced at around the Rs. 25,000, whereas the vanilla Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G is expected to start from Rs. 24,000. The handset will be available in two colours, Obsidian Black and Vintage Green while the Note 40 Pro 5G will be available in Vintage Green and Titan Gold shades.
