    Motorola has unveiled the highly anticipated Moto X50 Ultra, set to hit the market on May 26, 2024. This flagship device, made in collaboration with the Formula One championship was announced on May 16th.

    The Moto X50 Ultra boasts a sophisticated build, featuring a Gorilla Glass Victus front and an option between a wooden back or an eco-friendly silicone polymer back. An aluminum frame ties the design together, providing both durability and a premium feel. Measuring 161.1 x 72.4 x 8.6 mm and weighing in at 197 grams, the phone is designed to be both ergonomic and robust. It is also IP68-rated, ensuring dust and water resistance up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

    The display is one of the standout features of the Moto X50 Ultra. It sports a 6.7 inch P-OLED screen that offers a staggering peak brightness of 2500 nits, making it one of the brightest displays on the market. With a resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 144Hz refresh rate, users can expect an ultra-smooth and vibrant visual experience. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, ensuring durability against scratches and impacts.

    Under the hood, the Moto X50 Ultra is powered by the latest Qualcomm SM8635 Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, built on a 4 nm process. The octa-core CPU configuration includes a high-performance Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.0 GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.8 GHz, and three power-efficient Cortex-A520 cores at 2.0 GHz. The Adreno 735 GPU ensures top-tier graphics performance, making the device ideal for gaming and multimedia consumption. Running on Android 14, the phone promises a seamless and intuitive user experience.

The camera system supports 4K video recording at 30/60fps, 10-bit HDR10+, and gyro-EIS for stable footage. The front-facing camera is equally impressive with a 50 MP sensor, capable of recording 4K videos at 30/60fps.

    Audio features include stereo speakers with Snapdragon Sound support, although there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options are comprehensive, with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, NavIC, NFC, and a USB Type-C 3.1 Gen2 port that supports OTG and DisplayPort 1.4.

    Security and convenience are enhanced with an under-display fingerprint sensor, and the device supports Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology and Motorola’s Ready For platform.
