January 2024 is to see the release of Samsung’s new-gen Galaxy S24 series. Several upgrades are to be in store from this South Korean tech giant. Further, preorder customers are to be rewarded. However, the improved feature set has seemingly been leaked which include video recording features, substantial battery life and competitive pricing.
Slated to be released on January 17th, this series includes three versions of the Galaxy – S24, S24+ and S 24 Ultra. Owing to the impending nature of the release dawning upon us in mere two weeks, a lot of speculation about the feature is circulating already on the internet. However, several recent leaks have undermined the secrecy of the launch. The leaks indicate that the upgrades will include some video recording upgrades along with some rewards for the pre-order customers. Interestingly, the vanilla model of the Galaxy S24 is said to be priced lower than its predecessors. One of the most exciting features of the new Galaxy S24 series is the ‘Galaxy AI’. The series is set to have many AI features which include live language translation during voice calls, notes summarization in Samsung Notes, voice tagging and transliteration of up to ten people from voice recordings and Generative AI fill in images.
Like during the release of the S23 series, Samsung is said to offer pre-order bonuses for early shoppers such as higher storage variants of the phone at no extra cost. In addition to this, Samsung is expected to offer discount coupons for the Galaxy Watch or the Galaxy Buds FE during the pre-orders.
Other leaked information pertains to the pricing. It is said that the S24 series will be priced lower than the S23. The standard Galaxy starting at a 6.2-inch screen, the S24+ with a 6.7-inch screen and finally the S24 Ultra boasting a 6.8-inch screen – all of which are complemented by a 120Hz refresh rate which should make the visual experience smooth and clean.
