After launching the S1 and the S1 Pro electric scooters in India, Ola Electric introduced the Ola S1 X and the S1 X+ range of electric scooters in India in mid-2023. The deliveries for these scooters started since the December of 2023. These electric scooters are also a latest addition to the S1 lineup.
Ola S1 X and S1 X+ Features
The Ola S1X is available in two variants. One is a 4 kWh battery capacity variant that is claims to reach a range of 190 kms, and the second variant of the S1 X that is the 2/3 kWh battery capacity option that reportedly reaches around 95/143 kilometers per charge. Apart from these variants, the S1 X+ comes with a 3 kWh battery and can reach a certified range according to Ola of 151 kilometers on one single charge.
The S1X features a 4.3 inch (10.9 cm) segmented display-while the S1 X+ features a much bigger 5 inch (12.7 cm) display. Both the S1 X and the S1 X+ are equipped with the latest MoveOS 4 skin. The MoveOS 4 features Ola Maps, Geofencing features along with a Journal that unlocks achievements as you keep riding. The rider is also provided with a physical key to unlock the scooter.
Performance-wise, the Ola S1X features two battery option variants. The newly launched 4 kWh battery variant touches a range of 190 Kilometers on a single charge. The 2 kWh battery variant of the Ola S1 X ranges between 95 to 143 kms per charge. As for the S1X+, this electric scooter features a 3 kWh battery that is capable of reaching 151 km on one single charge. Both the scooters can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. The scooter boasts of a Cruise control feature that can be activated to provide the rider’s wrist some rest while travelling long distances.
Additionally, the S1 X and the S1 X+ feature a 34 litre bootspace, a flat footboard the usual headlamp design as seen on the S1 and the S1 Pro. Apart from these features, these electric scooters feature Proximity unlock feature, varied rider profiles and Advanced Regen feature that charges as the rider travels.
S1 X and S1 X+ Price and Colors
The Ola S1 X is available in two variants. with a 2KWh battery variant starts from a price tag of Rs. 79,999 whereas the 4KWh variant starts at Rs. 1,09,999. Apart from this, the S1 X+ starts from Rs. 89,999. The S1 X and S1 X+ are available in seven color variants. Red Velocity, Midnight, Funk, Stellar, Vogue, Porcelain White, and Liquid Silver allowing the buyer with a plethora of stylish options.
