ChatGPT, the popular AI bot that has answers to (almost) all of your questions now has a premium version. OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Plus with a subscription charge of $20 per month. The paid version will include additional features such as a faster response rate, priority access to the latest features, and access to ChatGPT even during peak times. Notably, while using it, the existing free version breaks down frequently, leading to long wait times for users.
Currently, ChatGPT Plus is only available in the United States. The company plans to roll out the service in other countries soon. Users can start using it by signing up for the ChatGPT Plus waitlist. “We will begin the process of inviting people from our waitlist over the coming weeks,” says the company. Users will still be able to access the AI chatbot, free of cost.
Based on users’ feedback, the company has made important updates. Moving forward, OpenAI says that it is “actively exploring options for lower-cost plans, business plans, and data packs for more availability.”
