Motorola has officially launched its latest foldable smartphones, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and Razr 40, in India. The specifications and pricing details of the phone have also been unveiled. The manufacturer claim that both devices will be manufactured in India.

The Razr 40 Ultra is the flagship model with a larger display, more powerful processor, and higher price tag, while the Razr 40 offers a more affordable option. Both devices come with impressive foldable displays, capable cameras, and attractive design features, making them appealing choices for consumers in the premium smartphone segment.

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is the flagship offering, featuring a large 6.9-inch foldable pOLED display with full-HD+ resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,200 nits brightness. On the outside, it sports a 3.6-inch pOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1,056×1,066 pixels resolution. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

In terms of cameras, the Razr 40 Ultra boasts a 12-megapixel primary sensor with OIS support and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. There’s a 32-megapixel camera on the inside for selfies and video calls. The phone is equipped with a 3,800mAh battery that supports 30W wired and 8W wireless charging.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is priced at Rs. 89,999 for the sole variant with 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. It is available in Viva Magenta and Infinite Black color options. Customers using an ICICI Bank credit card can avail of an Rs. 7,000 instant discount when purchasing the phone.

On the other hand, the more affordable Motorola Razr 40 features a 6.9-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and full-HD+ resolution. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone offers a dual rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. For selfies, it has a 32-megapixel front camera. The device packs a 4,200mAh battery with 30W fast charging and wireless charging support.

The Motorola Razr 40 is priced at Rs. 59,999 and is available in Sage Green, Summer Lilac, and Vanilla Cream color options. ICICI Bank credit card users can avail of a Rs. 5,000 instant discount, bringing the price down to Rs. 54,999.

Both the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and Razr 40 can be purchased from Amazon India or the official Motorola India website. Pre-booking for the Razr 40 Ultra is currently available on Amazon India for a price of Rs. 999. The phones will go on sale in India on July 14 through Amazon and the Motorola India website.
